Come and enjoy the Rideau Canal Festival on the weekend of August 4th to 6th here in Ottawa.

Did you know that the Rideau Canal was designated a Unesco World Heritage site in 2007 and was recently named to Google’s World Wonders site?

Events are being held at the Bytown Museum/Ottawa Locks, and Dows Lake Pavilion.

We have passes for the Festival which are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Did you know that you can go almost entirely inland by boat from Ottawa to the Gulf coast? You sure can – Take the Rideau Canal to Kingston, then the Erie Canal to New York City via the Hudson River and then the Intracoastal Waterway to the Gulf of Mexico.
